I’m in a Podcast!

Cover of Hellebore and RueThe latest ‘Broad Pod” podcast is available.

In it you’ll hear me read from my story, ‘Sky-Lit Bargains,’ published in Hellebore and Rue.

The ‘BroadPod’ production is an outgrowth of the Broad Universe Rapid Fire Readings I sometimes have the opportunity to participate in. So rather than hearing the full story, you’ll only hear a 6-minute snippet.

Of course, you’ll get to hear several other 6-minute snippets from other authors.

Click to listen to the latest Broad Pod Episode. (Note: This is a big file! You may have to wait a few seconds for the link to connect!)

To see other Broad Pod Episodes, check out the Broad Pod Web site. These podcasts are produced monthly, and are usually centered around a theme.

Women on Writing Podcast

Some of the women in Broad Universe (an online group of women writers from around the globe) have put together a podcast about women and writing called Broadly Speaking.

This is the first in a series. It’s theme is going to run parallel to the monthly Broad Pod Fiction broadcast that Broad Universe produces monthly. Here’s the blurb:

Broadly Speaking brings you interviews and insights from women writers of science fiction, fantasy, and horror – and all the realms in between. Keeping with the Broad Pod’s theme of Faith and Fear, Broadly Speaking will chat with Jennifer Pelland, Morven Westfield, and Gail Z. Martin about how they’ve used faith and fear in their writing, advice on how to do it well, and even how selling and marketing can be affected. Join host Trish Wooldridge for some true tales of women’s adventures in writing!

Here’s a link to the podcast.

I’m in a Podcast!

The Dragon's Clause - CoverFor all of 2010, BroadUniverse has been making monthly podcasts based on our famous “Rapid Fire Readings.” An RFR is usually held at a bookstore or convention and five or six BroadUniverse members read for only a few moments each.

It’s our way of giving you a “taste” of the writings of many authors, as opposed to one author for an extended length of time.

The 10th episode is all about dragons and other magical beasts and includes readings from me, from The Dragon’s Clause, as well as Sarah Micklem, Diane Whiteside, Danielle Ackley McPhail, and Justine Graykin.

You can download the Broad Pod and listen to it from this page. The November offering is at the top of the list, but the other 9 episodes are available, too.

If you right-click the episode, you can also add it to your iTunes list.
